My son has his 12 month jabs today and I'm not sure whether I need to give calpol before this time?

The best evidence available at the moment suggests it is probably best not to give calpol before jabs.
The immune response after the jabs (when their temp goes up) is the body's immune system reacting to the vaccine i.e. Doing what it's meant to do.
The calpol reduces this fever & therefore theoretically reduces the immune response to the vaccine.
If he is unwell after the vaccine then by all means give him an appropriate dose to keep him comfortable (and safe from v high fever)
Hope this makes sense?
