DS fractured his ankle and wore a cast for 4 weeks which was removed this morning. His ankle was still a bit swollen which the doctor said was normal. Gave him a walking boot and instructed to gradually wean off crutches.
I made him rest his ankle all day as it was feeling quite fragile without the cast. Thing is, DS' foot has now turned very dark with bruising!
Is this normal?
