Swimming and ear infections

As child I used to suffer from lots of ear infections when swimming, especially on holidays when I spent hours in the pool. Sadly my DS and DD also seem to suffer with this problem and it really impacts the enjoyment we can have on holiday. Wearing swimming caps in the heat isnt always feasible and ear plugs fall out. So as a product designer I want to create a product to dry the ears after a swim to reduce the risk of infection, and I would love to get a sense of a) whether this swimming ear infection problem affects many others and b) whether a product that solves this problem would have any demand! Thanks for letting me know!
