Dribble rash?

My DS is nearly one and has a nasty sore in the corner of her mouth (on the outside). It started as two small spots last week and has now expanded. It has a white coating and is red underneath, and it's constantly wet (she is teething). I took her to the GP a week ago who said that it was dribble rash and to put vaseline on it. Since then it's not improved at all. She's not bothered by it, and doesn't have any other symptoms (apart from teething and a slight cold). Has anyone else experienced something similar? How long did it last? Any suggestions for treatments?

Keep wiping it dry as much as you can, and put Zerobase on at night.

Yes, we had lots of that, especially on their chins. Dry it as often as you can and make sure there's a coating of barrier cream on it all the time.
