I have 2 dds 11 & 8 and we are currently on holiday in Tenerife. Youngest dd 8 has just come back from being away with her grandparents and had one day at home before we came away things have been a bit mad (dh ear infection) so didn't have time to do usual full clean bath hair wash before we came away - just returned from pool first day straight into bath went to wash her hair and it was Crawling!!!!!!!!! Yuck never dealt with them never seen them went straight to pharmacy they have me a lot with lotion (strong lemon chemically smell ) and a shampoo also included a cap and a bit comb (fell apart!!)
They didn't come with any instructions however the lady said lotion first cap on 15 minutes then wash out with shampoo and use not comb - that was all she said.
She was in the bath so I put lots of conditioner in and used comb wish kept losing its metal teeth to get as much as I could out I then rinsed it and blasted dry with dryer as hair had to be dry for lotion. Applied lotion by the bucket load put cap on 15 mins then used a lot of shampoo to rinse out. It looks fantastic but at the bottom of head there's a few dark bits stuck in her hair - are they eggs how do I get them out??
We are on holiday is she ok to go in the pool tomorro???

Section the hair. Use your fingernails to pull the eggs down the hair shaft and discard onto a tissue. We had to do it by hand with DD as the Nitty Gritty comb wasn't catching them. Good luck.
