Hello Mums,
My daughter who is turning 4 this month was diagnosed with TCHD when she was 2 weeks old.

She had 2 major surgeries and we were in and out of the hospital. I wasn't lucky enough to breastfeed her as we found that she has Lactose Intolerance. She got her Ileostomy when she was 2 months old.

The only time i saw her hungry was when she was 6 months Old but when she was crying for food, we couldn't give her more than very limited milk as otherwise everything will come out watery and quick.

Not sure whether it was her frequent hospitalization or whether it is her medical condition, she had stopped eating( never hungry from 6 months old ) much. It was always a struggle to make her eat. We have attended all feeding therapies , were under speech and language therapist, pediatrician etc. she was a tube fed child for more than a year.

Now, she is eating evrything but it takes minimum 3 hours to finish a meal and that too after reminding her for every spoon. I dont know what to do Hmm...she is starting school this sep. I ran out of every single idea.

Is there anyone is the same boat ?? Is there anything that i can do to try to fix this. I can see that its more behavioral now as she gets very distracted and keeps the food in her mouth for ages.

Please help !!! Confused
