Men B Vaccine Lump

Hi

My daughter is 23 weeks and had the second dose of the Men B vaccine at 18 weeks. The area of the jab was swollen for a few days and there was a red mark which has mostly faded but I can still feel a pea sized lump under the skin, is this normal?

My wee girl had this for about 1 and a half weeks after it. She ended up with a wee bruise on her thigh too! Keep an eye but ours went away slowly. Hope your LO is doing ok

Practice Nurse here- yes, a small lump is not unusual and will eventually go away.
