Has Dd had too much nurofen?

Dd has had a raging temp of 40. Was quite worried so took her to a and e. As she had been sick after taking calpol so ooh dr suggested she had 3rd dose of nurofen 4 hours after the last. When we got to hospital and despite me telling them she couldn't have anymore doses of neurofen for another 4 hours they gave a 4th dose of neurofen. This ment she had 600mg in total in 24 hours. She is 6 and about 3 stone. A bit worried. Anyone know if this is ok?

Max dose for that age is 570mg but the 7-10 year old dose is up to 2.4g so I wouldn't worry about 30mg over especially as they do sometimes give larger doses to children that age with arthritis.
