meningitis B Vaccine - which age groups are at risk and how do we get the vaccine if not through NHS?

Does anyone know how you go about getting this privately (unfortunately DC just missed out on the NHS one)? Do I organise through my GP?

Does anyone know how much it costs?

Lastly, I read somewhere that the peak age for Meningitis B is 6 months. Is that correct? If not which age group is most at risk from this?
