1 year old sick 4-5 times a day with every cold

Just wondering if anyone else has experience of this? My DS2 has another bad cold with cough - every time he coughs though he vomits a lot. It's a minimum of 4 - 5 times a day/night even with a minor cold and goes on for at least 5 days.

I'm thinking there no doubt isn't much I can do - it just makes colds so much more difficult to deal with and means he is losing weight due to the number of colds. He had reflux as a baby ( was on ranitidine) and I'm wondering if it is connected ( he is funny around food now and refused milk for 3 months at 6 months old)? My dc1 is not a vomiter at all so it's new to me. If anyone has had this and found anything that helps I'd be really grateful - I think the last 4 weeks I've only had one with no vomit.
