Flu jab for asthmatic child

My 5-year-old boy has been diagnosed with asthma two months ago. He is now taking the brown inhaler every day twice a day.
He is booked to have his flu jab today but i wonder if he will have the nasal spray (like "healthy children) or the injection (like asthmatic patient).
Does anyone know?

Unless it's severe asthma or he has a particularly high dose steroid inhaler it will be the spray. My 5yo had the jab as they didn't have the spray in yet in September and with his personal history it was decided he should be protected asap. Bit generally, they use the spray.

Our 7 year old had the spray.

It was very quick and easy, I was extremely impressed.
