Diarrhea in bed

My four year old had a runny tummy today but is fine in herself. Ate lots at teatime and I found her at 1am going for a wee. The smell was awful so I knew she pooed again but it was in her bed. It was everywhere and she didn't know.
Should I be worried? She has poo issues occasionally where she does big ones and had blood in it on three episodes.
I've never known anyone to poo in their sleep, is this normal?

I know it perhaps is a silly question but I've never known anyone to have diarrhea while they're asleep. Any advice please? X

Dd1 had a bug recently, woke up to crying and I think she must have sharted - had been lying on her side and had shot out, hit the wall and run down behind the bed! Easily done I would have thought if they're poorly but not very pleasant.

Unfortunately children that young don't tend to have control over a nasty case of diarrhea.
I hope she gets well soon.

Ok so being fine all day and eating loads she then had pain tonight. Had to cuddle her for a while, she said it was in her hips but was also holding the front on that side too. She complained her shoulder hurt briefly too.
Now again she's fine but has wind.
Thought I was gonna to out of hours at one point.
