2 yr old fell now has fairly bad lump right next to spine

Hi all, I don't know if I'm worrying about nothing here but my daughter who is about to turn 2 had a fall earlier tonight and I'm a bit concerned. My wife accidentally bumped into her and basically sent her sprawling on our tiled kitchen floor. DD is normally bullet proof and bounces up from anything but she screamed the place down for a while and was saying she was sore. This all happened about an hour or so before bedtime and she did seem not bad after it and was walking about ok but when I put her down I noticed she had a big red horizontal line running across her lower spine. Iv just checked on her again and she now has what looks like a fairly large lump forming just to the left of the spine. I know toddlers fall and get bumps and bruises but iv never heard of a lump forming on the back, especially this close to the spine. I might phone the doctors tomorrow morning but I was just wondering if anyone else had come across anything like this before and can reassure me that it's actually not that bad! Sorry if this is an unnecessary post, I just worry about this sort of stuff
Thanks

Hi thanks for the reply . for an update I have been checking her again today. The lump hasn't really come to much, there is 1 there but it's small, there's also a black line about an inch long that I assume is a bruise. She seems fine and hasn't made any issue of it all day. I'm thinking about taking her to gp anyway, my wife thinks it's not worth bothering about but I'm just concerned about it being so near her spine.
Anyway, thanks again for the reply
