Advice about dd and her wee please

My dd is 8 and lately she's been going for a wee then 10 mins later she will have to change her knickers as they are wet. Today I asked if she would show me how she wipes and she does it right so she's not just weeing and pulling her knickers up. Is it worth a trip to the docs or nothing to worry about? Any advice would be great.

Are they wet with wee or is it early days of vaginal discharge. My 8 year old had the same problem until I understood that it was discharge not wee. Had a casual chat about it & we are reading the 'care of me' books to learn all about it now.

Is she emptying her bladder properly? My dd had recurrent urine infections and the consultant said that the bladder will not fully empty if you rush and don't properly sit down on the toilet or hover over it. He told dd to sit on the toilet and touch her knees with her elbows.

It might be worth a quick trip to the gp to rule out a urine infection though.

I thought it might just be that she was a bit sweaty but it's definitely wee. She's always on the loo for ages and it her words has a good shake.

I'll pop her to the docs after school.

Any diagnosis? Would be helpful to know the outcome.
