This is the 4th time in about 7 months that this has happened and this time it the worst.
She was sick and diarrhoea on Wednesday night through to Thursday morning. She bounced back and had some toast and crisps, slept for 2 hours and was sick again with bad stomach pains.
Yesterday her tummy was hurting all morning so I took to a nurse who said it looks like a virus. Her temp is slightly up and she has keytones in her urning so needs to eat.
She had a milkshake, piece of cheese and yogurt yesterday evening. I know dairy is a big no when someone is ill but it was the only thing she will eat. More diarrhoea and sickness through the night. She has just had some milk which has made her tummy hurt again.
I literally cant get her to eat or drink anything else.
Last week she had hives all over her shoulder blades which spread. One nurse said it was the start of chicken pox, a doctor said it was eczma. This has virtually gone now since she was ill.
Any thoughts or experience with this? We tested her for celiac which was negative. Could it be diabetes as it keeps coming back? Is it worth another trip to the walk in today? It could be gastroenteritis but no one else in the house is ill.
