Hi there. My little boy started being sick on Friday. He was sick Friday morning, then fine all day, same thing happened yesterday and again today. He doesn't have a temp and he's his normal happy playful self. I'm taking him to the docs tomorrow, but I was wondering if anybody else has been through it, as it seems strange he's only sick first thing in the morning. Little boy is 5 years old btw xx

Does he eat before he goes to bed?

going to bed on a stomach full of food or milk could make him sick.

I feel nauseous if I go to bed on a full stomach. especially if its pizza

Have you checked for wrappers or sweets in his room?

He sometimes has a bit of supper, but not every night, I've just noticed he also has diarrhea too. I've asked him if he's been like that since Friday and he said yes

I'd have thought that would be more painful and he'd be more unwell.

I'd perhaps do a small light dinner tonight and no supper and see how it goes.

maybe some steamed chicken, rice and a few peas. boring I know but if it is the remainder of a bug something with no grease or rich flavours might help him keep it down.

I'd steer clear of anything heavy or cheesy or spicy or stodgy today. and just water to drink.

keep dinner a good two hours or so before bed
