hi everyone,
my little one is 10 days old today, she was very jaundice last week however tests show that her levels were fine, however this morning when we woke up she was not yellow and seemed to be pale looking, she has a cold face however she has a general warm body tempreture. Touching the back of her neck her body temp seems fine. She has had wet and dirty nappies today, and has fed quite well. It seems that only tonight she has gotten a cold face and im wondering if it is just too cold in our house.
Just wondering if anyone else noticed a change in there babys skin tone, and my baby also will just have a pale complexion or if they also had a cold baby and they were therefore pale because of this.
Thankyou in advance ladies :)

I seem to remember my jaundiced DD being very pale too..she still is by the way! Congratulations by the way! Do you feel cold? I was told to judge by myself with regards to how warm to keep the house...if you are cold then she will be.

My DD is very very pale. Recently I said to my DH 'I can't believe she's so pale, she had such dark skin when she was born'. DH replied 'she wasn't dark, she was jaundiced'. I think it can just be a bit of a shock when the jaundice wears off Smile.
