I would like to share with you how I got my little son out of eczema and allergy. He was only 2 months old when doc prescribed him steroids and antibiotics for his eczema. I gave him but after short time the problem become much worse. My GP, dermatologist, homeopath no- one seems to have an answer. I refused to serve any more medications. He was also allergic to almost everything!!!!! He was scratching and had spots all over the body and mainly on his face. It was the worst time of my life!
Then I read 'Philosophy of Health' and I started to eliminate some food products but also, I understood that his liver was very weak. I needed to take care of it. and I did. I was cooking broths ( once he was able to eat it), I was giving him ginger drinks, quinoa porridge..... While I was breastfeeding - I kept the same diet.
My son was getting better and better every weak.
The main thing is to understand, that we can help our little ones. But we need to know what to do and have the willingness to do what it takes to succeed. I did. Many friends with similar problems are asking me for advices now. Also, my husband cured his hay fever and allergies!!! But just doing same things I did with the little one....
GOOD LUCK

of course we can help them.

But that doesn't mean this is going to help every child.

For many such a restricted diet would be dangerous and multiple exclusions should never be lightly undertaken.

One or two fine as easily got around but don't go peddling a book which may cause more harm.than good. especially when allergies can be fatal and you claim to be able to cure them Hmm

Many children outgrow ezcema and allergies without crackpot diets. My son used to have ezcema and sadly dd is suffering at the moment. I am hoping dd immune system matures.

yes, we are with diet expert. We have also done his blood test and he does not have ANY deficiencies (including Vit D).
I am only telling you what works on thousands of people, not only in my house. I suffered a lot, and the reason why I am sharing my story - Is to help others...... :)

So is he now eating the stuff he was allergic too?

Report
18yearstooold · 24/11/2014 12:30

Well my dd is allergic to ginger so that wouldn't help

What rubbish!

Report
BuzzardBird · 24/11/2014 12:35

It is also possible though that he grew out of it by maturation as my DD did?

But if he's still under a dietitian then I'm assuming he's still on a restricted diet which means he not cured Confused

if he was cured he'd be eating everything.

He's just symptom free because allergens have been removed

How did you "understand his liver was weak"?

Report
gingertreat · 24/11/2014 12:51

He can eat everything now. even egg, gluten, fish, everything....
What we have change in our diet - in fact the entire family diet - we eat seasonal food, cooked and well balanced, being as close to nature as possible. (We live in London :) )

Once I started applying cooked food to help his liver - we were seeing the changes on his skin. Almost instantly.

cooked food to help liver? livers are one of teh most robust organs. They filter toxins and take all sorts of abuse and can regenerate.

unless you feed your child nothing but processed crap and alcohol then a normal diet would not be damaging the liver

TarkaTheOtter · 24/11/2014 12:56

Bit how did you know it was his liver that was causing the problems?

Your son grew out of it clearly. People like you spreading crap rumours of miracle cures really piss me off.

you are talking utter shite.

And I don't care if this gets deleted.

I do not want to try to convince anybody here. We are all adults and can decide for ourselves.
If you think - more than 50% kids are diagnosed with allergies today. Not to mention adults. Do you think all of these people have bad diet?
No, in fact they are all trying their best to get better.
So why so many of us suffer allergy?
Our metabolism and digestive system got so weaker due to excess of 'healthy food' that our body can not cope with it anymore.
This is the answer why so many diabetics, allergies, overweight kids.....

I thought this was going to be about oats in the bath, which is just as crackpot and unreliable as what you are offering OP.

more than 50% kids are diagnosed with allergies today

Is that scientific fact?

People like you peddling utter shite are the reason my mother carried a hankie covered in "blessed oil" in her pocket for months thinking it would cure her cancer.

Fuck sake catch a grip. Most kids grow out of childhood allergies - hayfever, eczema and the like, that's all your child has done.

Please link to the peer reviewed study in a main stream medical journal that states, with proof, that more than 50% of kids are diagnosed with allergies today.

Diabetes is because "Our metabolism and digestive system got so weaker due to excess of 'healthy food' that our body can not cope with it anymore. "

Nothing to do with insulin then? All them folk injecting themselves is all because they had an excess of healthy food?

I have reported, and I hope this gets deleted. It's claptrap.

Gileswithachainsaw · 24/11/2014 13:12

ever heard of medical and environmental causes? There are hundreds of reasons kids are or become allergic to things. It's a huge huge scope we can't possibly hope to ever have control over.

Yes one child having eczema and then not having it tells us nothing whatsoever OP, whatever they ate, because that could happen naturally.

You would need several large, well-designed, double-blind studies with controls (so testing all the supposed miracle foods and then testing a load of other foods too) so see if any particular foods have any effect.

Meanwhile it's really important to make sure any child has a balanced diet and gets enough calories, because missing out on nutrients early on could cause other problems.

That's not an article in a peer reviewed journal ....

If I had refused to "serve" one of mine "any more medications" as a result of allergies they would have died from malnutrition.

What say you, OP?
