Baby cough - help!

Hi, my baby just can't shift her cough. She got her first proper cold in May and had conjunctivitis too. She had a nasty cough but started to shake it off, then it got worse again. It's now July and she's had the cough for ages. It gets worse at night but she still coughs sometimes during the day.

She's eating well and doesn't have a temp. I've been to the doctors a couple of weeks ago, for the second time, and they just said it's probably a virus.

Does anyone know if this is just normal for babies - to have a cough for this long? She's 7 months now.
