Can i give dd (with extremely sore throat) Calpol and Calprofen?

Dd (8) Developed sore throat on friday ,slight temp
Tonsils not swollen and no white spots
Does look v red and she is crying as its so sore
Been giving Calpol ,fluids ,milk and spoons of honey

Yes. You can give both. Just follow the dosage. Hope she feels better.

Yes you can give both, one is paracetamol the other ibuprofen.

Depends why she has a sore throat. They may give her antibiotics. Maybe she has tonsillitis. I used to have this a lot when I was younger. And still occasionally now. Unbelievably painful. They would give her antibiotics. A few days on soup and ice cream and she'll be fine. If it is tonsillitis, make sure she finishes the course as it has a nasty habit of coming back next if the course isn't complete.

All depends.
If it goes in for days they will.
Also, the white spots can appear anytime...

There is an OTC medication called difflam throat spray which is very good.
