Baby teeth. Can they sometimes just stop coming through?

I have met plenty of babies/toddlers whose teeth came through late or in "the wrong order". My DD's teeth were late enough to fall outside the standard list of when they are meant to appear. But they have all appeared. Apparently late teeth run in my family.

Normal according to this list:

Maybe I'm the one who should be worrying... My DS is 35months and doesn't have his lower canines yet. hmm
