My friend's unborn baby was diagnosed with this at her 20 week scan. She has been going for every appointment possible, but I'm worried about her. My friend seems disconnected from it all. When we talk about the whole situation (when she brings it up), she says that she doesn't really understand all the medical words. So when she gets home and she googles it all (which I'm pretty sure isn't doing her any favours). I guess I'm asking for anyone who has had experience with this condition, and if her initial feelings are normal. Also, how can I be supportive as possible the next coming weeks/months especially when little one is here and in hospital pre op/post op. She is booked in for 1st of May to have Baby at Chelsea and Westminster (not our local hospital).
