Child with squint

Hi,
I was wondering if anybody can help me please? My daughter (7years old) has a squint which has been operated on before which initially looked like it was fixed but then went exactly back to how it was before the operation. She can control it most of the time but when she's in a bit of a day dream- (usually in class!) other girls have started to notice it and tease her for staring at them. She is getting quite upset about this as they think she's doing it on purpose and doing it to be mean. I am going to mention it to the teacher but I wasn't sure the best way they can deal with it and what advise to give to my daughter? We have a massive lack of confidence with how the school handle behaviour issues so I feel like I need to tell them how I want them to deal with it! Any advise would be greatly received. Thank you in advance!

When they operated before it correctly it completely but within 6 months it went back to exactly how it was before the op. So they basically said that if they operate again the same will probably happen. Just wondering how we can help her deal with it.
