Hives advice please!

Hi, my DD suffered a severe allergic reaction Sunday evening and after a trip to a & e was diagnosed with urticaria. She was given piriton and oral steroids as her face had swelled. Today the hives rash has finally gone but it has left bruising all over her body where the hives were. Has anybody had experience with this? I've googled and apparently bruising can happen but I just wondered how long it can last for? It looks awful :( many thanks.

Awh poor thing. My DD gets gives but has never had bruising. You might like to ask in the allergies section as there are lots of people there with allergic children.
