Hi there dd aged 7 has a cold sore, is there anything that can help. It's only a crack at the side of her mouth but she's having difficulty eating with it.

Thank you

I've used competed cold sore patches before with ds when he was about 5, it was on his lip and stopped him messing with it at school, might help, there are other over the counter creams which might make it less sore

My dh gets them also and we take an ice cub and hold it on the area for as long as you can. My dh can go through like 4 ice cubes, not sure you'll be able to get your dd to hold it their for that long! But really helps it heal quicker, for us more so then the creams.
