3wks old and cold

My newborn has got the start of a cold she sounds really mucusy like a cough or nose blow would clear her, I gave it to her, feel awful and really worried, I'm breast feeding and thought that would of protected her, my friends babies were hospitalised because they developed bronchitis, so I'm feeling really anxious anyone else's babies had a cold this young and it just come and go? Also should I be going to the docs straight away?

With her age I would get her checked over the the doctor.

Is she having plenty of wet nappies?

Going to the doctors today she's definately chesty and the mucus makes her cough then she brings up all of her milk! :(
