Odd Rash

After bathing Dd age 6 last night I noticed a few (widespread) white spots, a few on her back legs and a small cluster on the side of her wrist.
No temperature, no symptoms of being poorly,

This morning a few still remain, a new small cluster on side of ankle, She says they are itchy so have given her a 5ml spoon of anti histamine.

allergic reaction to something maybe? No different than normal foods that i can think of, had a mild dose of chicken pox aged 3 but doesn't look the same ( no blisters).

Anyones DC had something similar?

Yesterday. Kept spreading. When she complained of a 'stretched face' and 'sticky lips' I took her to OOH GP. Have two different antihistamines for her and advice to watch her breathing, swallowing and lips.

No new spots this morning but she looks horrendous. Like you, can't think of anything that would have caused an allergy so it's probably a viral rash. I'm glad I got it checked though.

Thanks Hawkmoth, I am keeping an eye on her, nothing new has come up, but will certainly take her if anything changes! :)

Could just be a few hives. DD's are still spreading, glad I took the slightly ghoulish trouble to photograph every few hours for comparison.

Hmmm, that is a good idea, Dd seems to be up and down, no temp to speak of, however an hour ago it looked like she had slapped cheek, I think I will just make an appt in the morning to be on the safe side, I hate wasting the doctors time, especially if its nothing at all.
Hope your Dd is feeling a little better now.

Sod's Law had it that I took her to see the GP yesterday morning as it was still spreading, then by tea time it had all faded to pale pink!

How did you get on?

She seems fine today, nothing at all on her, very odd indeed. So glad your Dd is ok, they don't half worry us!
Have n/c'd btw. :)
