5 yr old DD came bk from a friends house tonight the friends Mum said DD had sprayed children's perfume on the back of her hands and then started to complain of an itch. DD washed her hands and friend's Mum put cream on. As i was putting DD to bed i noticed her hands had got very red and little swollen. It starts at her wrist and finishes at her knuckles and doesn't spread to her palms, warm to the touch.

She's not got it any where else and says she feels fine not poorly she just says her hands fee tight. I put dettol antiseptic cream on and She's gone to sleep fine.

Does this sound like an allergic reaction? Have i done the right thing? Do i need the gp tomorrow??

Definitely sounds like an allergic reaction. If it hasn't gone down when she wakes up then a combination of some bite & sting cream/spray and an oral antihistamine should help. If it's still there tomorrow then I'd definitely see the GP.
