EBF 6mo pooing at least 6 times per day

My DS has always been a copious pooer. I read wistfully about parents whose EBF babies poo once every two or three days. Mine is more like once every two or three hours - or in the morning, three times (hugely) in the hour after he gets up for the day. The staff at his nursery occasionally comment that he seems 'a bit loose' but I can't see any difference at all between now and when he was smaller. I also attribute that to the fact that they're more used to seeing FF baby poo.

As he appears healthy and big for his age (no idea what centiles he is, sorry, but people always comment on his size, including the HV who hasn't seen the need to weigh him on her last two visits), and seems to wee enough as well, should I worry, or have others experienced this?

Don't worry! Regular pooer here too! My DS is nine months now and the solids have solidified things and slowed the frequency down (sorry TMI!) but when he was EBF he would average five poos a day, sometimes rising to eight on a busy day...

I did ask my GP because it did seem like a lot, but he said every baby is different, just like adults the frequency can really vary! And it does change. I can't believe I was cleaning up that much poo every day with many a vest also taking a direct hit. We haven't had a poo vest for months now (famous last words)...
