DS (11) is being sick, once as soon as he wakes, I keep him off school but he's fine an hour later??

Has anyone else experienced their child being sick just once then burping and urging for about half an hour, in the morning? DS had this 5 weeks ago, I kept him off school Mon, Tue, Wed then back Thurday but off again Fri. This week it has started again but literally by 10 a.m. he is fine, eating toast and as happy as larry! I've talked to him about school, worries etc to make sure it isn't nerves. But now I'm not sure what it can be.

Today we've attempted a very simple diet of toast, plain biscuits and chicken and rice for tea. This is hard because he has a very healthy appitite!

He did suffer from acid reflux when he was a baby but surely it wouldn't of gone for 10 years then suddenly come back???

Any advice?

Attempted Doctors appointment this morning with no luck as it's not 'An Emergancy' but will take him as soon as.

No medical qualification whatsoever disclaimer applies...

My nephew did similar when he was that age and having a massive growth spurt - he was hungry (oddly). My sis found a cereal supper just before bed seemed to help.
