10 year old having tooth extracted tommorow no sedation

Well, my DS has had a tooth extracted with just an injection, as have I.
But the injection is the sorest ( is that a word?) most sore part.
If your DC is especially worried can you not ask for sedation?

Injections are the norm, I think.
Sorry. Hideous though.

My DD had four out last year with just the local anesthetic.
She was fine. Today in fact, we are going to a new dentist. I imagine she'll be recommended more extractions due to her tiny mouth hole and large teeth.
Good luck and try to remain calm. My DD was singing ring of fire while three people tried to get a hooky bit of root out.
