Mumsnetters aren't necessarily qualified to help if your child is unwell. If you have any serious medical concerns, we would urge you to consult your GP.

When DC1 had her check they weighed, measured her, noted she could walk and babble/talk. Now in new area, 2 years later, for DC2 they have asked the baby is weighed at a clinic beforehand- they won't even weigh them. Am I expecting too much to think they would at least weigh the child? At the baby clinic often the parent does the weighing and recording.

Well in my area they send out a questionnaire which I have to fill in, and if they have any concerns with my answers they'll ask me in for an appointment. So at least you are getting seen!
