My dcs have diarrhea - all got it today. Is this usually followed by vomiting or has anyone else just had the diarrhea (sorry for bad spelling!) thanks

I usually get diarrhoea instead of v if the kids pass a v bug to me. Think it's all the same thing really...

My dd2 who is five has just had a bout of d but no vomiting yet, it's quite nasty and I've just had to bin her pj bottoms and pants and stick one of her sisters pull ups on her to go back to bed in.

There is a bug going around at school, it seems to be some kind of lottery whether you get the v or the d or both! I always get it from the kids and I'm praying I just get the runs, can't cope with being sick, not easy with four dc and no one around

Yes - we have all had it recently. Just bad cramping and a fair bit of diarrhoea out of the blue - it lasted about 3 days or so for each of us. None of us vomited but we all went off our food (eating usually caused cramping).

Hope you all feel better soon.
