She is 7 months old. Has been having solids for about 6 weeks.
She's mostly still on milk (breastfed).
She has a bit of a go with food when we sit down to eat 2 or 3 times a day.
She eats...
Melon (water, yellow and orange)
Peach
Pear
Figs
Apricot
Mango
Cucumber
Carrot (cooked & raw)
Butternut squash (roast)
Sweet potato (roast)
Broccoli
rice (sometimes with a bit of coconut milk)
dahl (red lentils, onion, tomato, carrot, a few spices)
And that's about it.
No dairy or eggs or wheat yet.
Why why why is she straining and turning purple and taking 4 days to do a poo? And when she does it's dry as anything. She's miserable.
I have tried giving her the odd prune but she's not too keen.
She really doesnt eat much solid food at all. We just put some on her high chair and she plays and sucks it. We're not pureeing or feeding it to her.
Help.
