Hi, I am feeling worried as my dd has been sick for a week, some days she is fine and i think she is better and then she is exhausted and complains of a sore tummy the next day and vomits. Has anyone got any similar experience? I am worried she might have parasites as viruses usually don't last this long, she needs me to hold her a lot and I am exhausted, am a single parent with very little backup...we just got through whooping cough and then a bad cold and now this, without a breath between, feeling pretty awful and scared that I am not going to be able to manage it all,
thanks for reading

Does she eat after vomiting? What I mean is, does she still have an appetite afterwards?
Are there any other symptoms?

Have you been to the GP with her, what has been said?

Our toddler had this, very often a sickness bug can upset their tummies for up to a week. Or they can develop temporary lactose intolerance, its probably worth ringing the GP or cutting back on heese/yoghurt for a few days to see if that helps?

thanks for thoughts so far, GP said likely to be virus but keep an eye on it and come back after 2 weeks. We don't have cows milk, yogurt or cheese but have goats cheese occasionally, I will stop it and see if it helps...
SHe does sometimes eat afterwards and sometimes not, is ultra picky with food and has very little appetite at the mo.
