8 month year old has a rash

Hi, my son has a rash, it began around his mouth, and I suspected it was as a result of him teething, however the rash this morning spread to his face, his nose, behind his ears, and his cheeks, and is spreading a little to his back and his stomach too. It seems to have stopped spreading now, and doesn't appear to be worsening. The rash is tiny little red marks. Also, I gave him pineapple for the first time today, I'm wondering if this might be a reaction to that.

If anyone could please provide me with some tips as to what to look out for from now on, what symptoms to look out for, and what to do, I'd be very grateful. He doesn't have a fever, and he is generally in good spirits. Thank you!

If in doubt I always call the GP and describe symptoms - my FIL is a GP and says there's no such thing as wasting time when it's a baby.

Have you done the glass test? That's the only thing I know to do with a rash to rule out anything serious!
