Red weeping skin behind ears - what can I put on it?

My DS is 4 months and has very red skin behind his ears which are weeping. I will take him to the docs on Monday but what can I put on them until then? I've tried Savlon and sudacrem but his ears are so wet it's impossible to rub in.

I wonder if it might be ezcema as he has some dry scaly skin on his arms and legs and cradle cap.

Any advice would be gratefully received, poor thing it looks so horrible Sad.

i get this and btween my earlobe/cheek and i find sudocrem to be very soothing and doesnt sting when applied. it will act as a barrier too to stop it getting any dirt stuck to it. hth and hope your dd is better soon xx

have you got canesten? May be worth a try?

My dd had this constantly turned out that it was a kind of psorasis so if it persists after treatment by the gp insist on a referral.

Thanks I will try canestan - I've just had thrush myself so have plenty.

What's psorasis? I'm scared to google.

DD2 had this and needed antibiotics-DR didn't give cream because the skin was broken. It was an infection/fungal type thing and looked very very sore.
