DS, 4, has had a slightly 'wonky' penis since birth. It's noticable when you look at it - points a bit to one side - but midwife & paed that checked him over in hospital said fine and I've always just thought it was within normal range of 'all men a bit different'. No issues with UTIs, ballinitis or anything. He knows he needs to check the direction he's pointing before he wees/
However, I'm now starting to worry a bit. A couple of times recently he has wee'd quite dramatically sideways. I think penis looks quite lumpy along one side as urine comes out (have not made a fuss about taking a really close look yet). And the other day I was proudly shown an erect willy and I was a bit alarmed to see that it almost seemed to have 90 degree bend at the end (!). Again - I didn't make a big thing about getting a good look at it and it probably wasn't fully erect. Wasn't quite sure how to start that conversation!
So I'm going to take him to GP - but any experience/opinions on this? Is it likely to be nothing or should I be prepared for needing some kind of treatment?
