Streaming nose in 2yo- normal?

Hi,

My 2yo DD has had a runny nose since the middle of January. When it started, she was poorly with it- temp, cough etc. Then she improved, but the nose kept running (clear, not green/yellow etc). It dried up for a few days and then started again- like before, she was unwell for a day or so but after recovering, the nose has continued to run- still clear. She coughs occasionally to clear the mucus in her throat (it does not sound chesty. Absolutely fine in herself.)
I have thought of several things- could she just have been unlucky and caught two virus's one after the other (she is at nursery two days a week.) Teething? (she still has 4 molars to come through),hayfever (but no itchy eyes/rashes of any kind)and it's early for that I would have thought. I also wondered about lactose intolerance- (even though she has been happily drinking milk since birth, I have noticed that it makes her more 'mucusy'.
Has anyone had the same thing with their toddler or any experiences to share? Thanks.

It's quite common to have several colds in a row, esp with a 2 yr-old. The winter after my son turned 2 it seemed he had a cold every other week. He (now 3.6) and I have also had flu this Jan and have been dripping ever since. I think we're on our 3rd consecutive cold right now. So prob don't need to worry if she otherwise seems OK and not chesty.
Lactose intolerance causes tummy aches, diarrhoea, farting, etc. - not a runny nose!
