Suddenly started wetting herself

I wasn't sure whether to post here or in potty training but TBH I'm not sure it is really the latter. My daughter,3y4mo has been toilet trained for 9 months and is dry at night. However, she has started wetting herself in the day once or twice a day. At first I thought she was being lazy about going to the loo but now I'm not do sure. There is no obvious case of anxiety in her life however and no signs of illness. She can't explain to me why she has starter doing
this

Is it worth visiting the GP? Anyone had similar experience?

she could have a urine infection or she could have decided that she can't be bothered to stop what she's doing to go. Def take a urine sample to be tested though.

We've just been through this with DS. We went back to the potty training trick - a star for every time he did a wee or poo in the loo, and then when he got to ten stars we gave him a treat. It worked and he's only had one accident in a month. Could you try that with DD?

I agree with cargirl. Get a sample bottle from your doctor's receptionist and take it in asap. Urine infections can cause incontinence and can drag on for months without treatment. If it's clear then you can try the starcharts etc.

Thanks so much for your replies and apologies for the delay in coming back on. I'll ring the doctor in the morning.

My dd who got "couldn't be bothered itis" I just asked if she wanted to carry on going to pre-school, (which she loved) so I told her she had to keep her pants dry then - worked a treat. The next one was a bit more tricky and used to regularly leave it too late and have an accident - drove me nuts but she did eventually grow out of it!
