DD's urine sample

I got my DD2's urine tested for infection last week as she's been complaining of soreness and has been generally off-colour. Yesterday I had a letter saying she hasn't got an infection but they would like another sample from her. Does anyone have any ideas what they may be looking for? I'm imagining all sorts of horrible things like diabetes but know I'm probably being paranoid!!!

Sometimes people have the symptoms and nothing shows in the urine until later... So it could be that?

Or it could have not showed any results - contaminated so need another one..

Or they failed to test it within the time necessary for urine samples so want to check..

Hope she's feeling better soon. Lemon barley water is good for flushing out the system. Lots of people say cranberry juice but for a young kid it might not be nice to drink and it's super-sugary. And it doesn't work at all for me.
