Chicken pox in mouth - is Anbesol ok?

DS2 is 2.5 and has chcken pox. Today he's got a couple on his tongue and is complaining about them hurting.

DS1 has once had a mouth ulcer and I used Anbesol on that, as I did with them both when they were in pain due to teething.

It'll be ok to put anbesol on these sores aswell won't it? I can't read the label as it's mostly rubbed off due to being carried around in my handbag when they were teething!
