Persistant Throat Clearing

DD (5) has developed an almost constant throat clearing/grunt over the last few weeks.

She has said it feel like something is stuck and she can't get rid of it.

She had her tonsils and adenoids removed 2.5yrs ago and is on the list for grommets.

I can't see anything in her throat and don't know what to do?

Has anyone else had anything similar or is DD just an oddity?

I should add that whilst it is bothering her,it is annoying the hell out of me Wink

It's most likely a tic tbh... don't draw attention to it, and it should disappear. You've had a hell of a year, and it could just be coming out like this. Has she settled back into school now (you are back home now?)

I assumed it was a tic until she kept saying "Mummy it feels like there is something stuck in my throat and I can't get it out".
Will give it a while and thanks for the asthma tip.

Captain-we are back home after a truly memorable trip. She settled back into school brilliantly as had been in touch with them throughout.

I am amazed I haven't developed a tic-oh yes I have,it manifests itself in pouring wine into a glass and drinking it Wink
