DS suffers with ezcema - quite mildly although he has a very sore re-curring patch at the corner of this mouth. Now he has one under his mouth and I've noticed he's licking it so now he is getting a half moon patch of sore under his lip. What can I do? I've seen children get red raw with this and I want to stop it before it gets any worse Sad Any tips? Thanks.

Yep I agree, it's best you also put it on when he goes to bed, it works especially well when they are sleeping and not licking.

Yes, I will do that. Is there anything else that might help? Vaseline doesn't touch the recurring patch, we have to put hydrocortoisone (no idea how to spell that) on it.

Try Daktarin gel which will treat any infection in the patch. He's probably getting a Staph or fungal infection in it and because he licks it it never heals.
