Appendicitis???

DS, 4 has today been getting really bad stomach pains, has a mild temperature and just wants to sleep. VERY unlike him. He is pale and cries with pain when he has to stand up or walk. No vommitting. Could this be appendicitis?? He says it's ''bad pain'' not ''sick pain''. Not sure what to do. He's asleep next to me at the moment, on the sofa, just cried himself to sleep. Has done so about 4 times since 4pm, but the pains wake him up every time after about 20 mins.

I would get him seen by GP OOH. Any tummy pain not explained by diarrhoea and/or serious vomiting needs a prod. Is it localised to his tummy button or in lower right hand side?

If he is on his back, and you lift his right leg up (knee may be bent) is the pain worse then? (The appendix is on the right side)
