I recall being told a story about the Sandman who gave you happy dreams . ( it was a good few years ago !). I mentioned this to dd and she has asked more ...... Have looked on Amazon but there are no reviews or story synposis can anybody help ? Thanks

Don't buy the Sandman graphic novels for a kid -- they are quite literary and adult-themed. Good though.

This was something like Hans christian Anderson or similar but a very 'child friendly' bedtime story . I can still remember it ( well bits of it ) thanks ...

The sandman legend is American, if that helps.

Neil Gaiman's Sandman is definitely not for children.
