Summer Reading - 5.5 year old boy

Can anyone recommend good books to look for in library for my 5 1/2 year old DS over the Summer holidays? I'm mainly looking for books that we can read together.

We've recently been working through a few Roald Dahl books (which he's LOVED) and he's also recently enjoyed some of the Bear Grylls Adventures books (but they're getting a bit samey) I've previously tried a couple of Flat Stanley and Dirtie Bertie, but he wasn't that bothered by them.

Also open to any older age picture books too. He really enjoyed Iggy Peck Architect for example, so have reserved Ava Twist Scientist.

Thanks!

Have you read the treehouse series yet? We also love The Bolds books

Thanks for getting me going! We have The Magic Faraway Tree and How to Train Your Dragon on the shelf, but will start looking up the others on our library catalogue.
