If DS likes Alex Rider, what else would he like?

DS reads and re-reads the Alex Rider series over and over again. I'd like him to try branching out into something new. Any suggestions?

He's 13, so can cope with young adult books, but tends to prefer "easy reading" so doesn't have to be! The other thing he's reading at the moment (with me) is the Time Riders series - he quite likes books with a historical setting.

Many thanks.

Cherub are the ones mine "graduated onto".

There's also the Young Bond series, but also older ones like Biggles if that catches his interest.

Also, there is a Young James Bond Series and a Young Sherlock Holmes series he could try.
