DS reads and re-reads the Alex Rider series over and over again. I'd like him to try branching out into something new. Any suggestions?
He's 13, so can cope with young adult books, but tends to prefer "easy reading" so doesn't have to be! The other thing he's reading at the moment (with me) is the Time Riders series - he quite likes books with a historical setting.
Here are the contents of my son's favourite bookshelf! Artemis Fowl series The Edge Chronicles (loads of books by Stewart/ Riddell) 'Mortal Engines series (3 books philip Reeve) Christopher Paolini's series- Inheritance, Eldest, Dark Mysteries series by Phillip Pullman Hornblower (Forester) Tolkien books, Sherlock Holmes and even some Dickens (!)
