Car sickness prevention =Audio books for 6 and 8 year old boys?

We're going on an epic car journey over a 3 week period. They'll be bored after 15 minutes and possibly throwing up (nothing quite like it in a hot car) so reading anything and DVD's are out of the question.
Audio books are my new answer. But which ones? Especially essential for my 8yr son.

I've not listened to them myself but I believe the 'how to train your dragon' series audio books are popular with that age children.

Also the Narnia books and Roald Dahls are good too. Audible is a good website that has some kids audiobooks.

You're a Bad Man Mr Gum (sequels were not so popular)
Any of the David Walliams books, Boy in a Dress was a favourite
The BBC dramatisation of The Railway Children was a surprise hit, some other BBC dramatisations less so. (I have to try not to listen at the very end as it's dangerous to drive with tears in my eyes.)
I second How to Train your Dragon books suggestion.
Harry Potter

I almost forgot, 7yr old DD loves Hank Zipzer. Book Depository have some of them on CD, written and read by Henry Winkler.

Definitely get the how to train your dragon audiobooks. David tenant is brilliant. They were a hit with all the family.

The Artemis fowl books are good too. So are the Septemus heap books (magyk is the first one).

DS2 (5) has recently really enjoyed the varjak paw audiobook, and also the last wild (and the sequel the dark wild).

He likes harry potter too.

The Indian in the Cupboard read by the author is fab.
Narnia
DS liked Mr Gum but I wasn't so keen

Be careful with artemis fowl with DS2 if he's six.

Hits here have been

Roald Dahl
Stig of the dump
the borrowers
the never ending story
Tom's midnight garden
First few lemony snickett's (although these quickly became a bit dark for DS2)
First couple of Harry Potters
Phillip Pullman Northern Lights
Varjak paw
